Volunteers are the backbone of the CAB service. We are always on the look-out for committed individuals who are willing to give up their time to help others.

You do not need any formal qualifications but must be open-minded, a good listener and have at least 6 hours a week to give to the service.

Advisers get free training to nationally recognised standards and learn how to help clients face to face or by telephone with a wide variety of problems and issues.

Other volunteering opportunities include:advisors

  • Information Technology
  • Receptionist
  • Publicity
  • Office Administration
  • Social Policy/Campaigner

Contact

If you think you might wish to become a volunteer, contact our training manager, Eileen Wharton by completing our request form or by telephone on 01942 705135 for an initial, no-commitment chat.
